Bullying is NOT on!
One in three Australian children report that they have been involved in bullying: as a victim, bully or bystander. Bullying has negative and long lasting impacts including anxiety and depression, substance use, reduced school results, aggression and violence, and self-harm and suicide.
Term 1 is quickly approaching and it is a good time to talk about the issue of bullying and how you can support your children - before problems arise. There are a range of strategies that you can use and it is important to work with the school so that the bullying doesn’t continue.
If you would like to know more about bullying and teaching your kids how to stand up to bullies, come along to one of my bullying workshops.
The first workshop is on Friday 20th March at 10am, Rossdale Golf Club. Tickets include brunch.
So drop your kids to school, have a cuppa and something to eat, and we will talk about bullying and supporting your kids.
There are only 12 places available so that we can talk about the issues in depth, work through real examples and answer any questions.
You will need to book your ticket early. Click the link to secure your seat.
I look forward to meeting you!
